The John Botscharow Interview #6: Personalized RSS?

Rok: You say that your channels are more personalized than any e-mail marketing you have ever seen. Why do you believe the same level of "personalization" is not possible with e-mail? For instance, you could deliver your content using e-mail and allow your visitors to post comments on your web site, for instance directly below the "article" or "post" they want to comment? Can you explain the difference?


John: Spoken like a true email addict! That only adds an extral layer of useless work both for the publisher and the reader.

It also puts the pushy back into the mix. I have no desire to take control away from my readers.
