About Writing a Book & RSS Marketing e-Book Ready

It took almost 5 months, but it's finally ready. 550 pages (also comes with a shorter version:), 33 RSS expert and practitioners interviews, more than 50 examples and case studies, and solid step-by-step advice.

It's really the first material that goes this deep and also uncovers many marketing strategies that most marketers have not even thought about yet.

Yes, I'm talking about my "Unleash the Marketing & Publishing Power of RSS" e-book that Robin Good announced to the world about two or three weeks ago.

And the early peer reviews are just enough to make my eyes wet, such as:

"MarketingStudies.net has put together the most comprehensive guide on RSS I've read to date. It has everything you need to know about RSS from what it is to how to use it as a marketing tool. I highly recommend this guide." --- Bill Flitter, CEO of Pheedo, Inc., RSS & Weblog Marketing Solutions

"The guide is the most comprehensive I've seen on the subject of using RSS as a marketing tool."
--- Alex Barnett, Online Customer Experience Manager, Microsoft Ltd, UK

"This is the best, most comprehensive review of RSS for marketing I've seen (and I've seen a lot of them)."
--- Derek Scruggs, General Manager at FanPrints.com and ClickThruStats.com, founder of Escalan marketing agency

Anyway, it's going to be officially released tomorrow:)

I can't even begin to talk about how much work writing a book like this is and how releaved I am that I brought it to the finish.

The worst part is that everytime you think you're finished, something new pops up. For instance, just a day before Christmas I was sure it was finished. And then Robin "came by" with suggestions on how to improve the entire structure of the e-book.

I then spent the next two weeks working on the new structure, and it was definitly worth the time.

Writing a book is no picnic, and yet there is somehow nothing I would rather do.

On the other hand, I could never decide to "just" write books. It takes real-world experience to write about a subject, and you never get that by just writing. So I think I'll remain a marketer that sometimes writes:)

The most difficult part is balancing your work with the writing. It's not a problem writing in the evening, but that puts a strain on your family life as well as takes away time you would otherwise spend "working on your work" from home.

So, the e-book is coming out tomorrow. There are so many people I need to thank for their assistance that I could contribute every blog post until the end of the year to them:)

More tomorrow ...
